Sandrine Holt was the mother of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. She was born in London, to a Chinese mother and a French father. At the age of five she moved to Toronto in Canada and has called it home ever since. Prior to becoming an actor she was employed as a model in Paris for a modeling job for the catwalk. Her film debut was in the role of Annuka in 1991 s Black Robe. The role received nominations in the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar.
