Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies started her career as an actress as a child at the age of 12, as she first began participating in open castings at the locality. Her career in acting began at the age of 12 years young. The first time she appeared on screen was for Virgin Mobile commercials. Gillies played a regular role for the show The Black Donnellys over three seasons. Gillies has said that she was never allowed to watch the finished show as a whole because her parents believed that it wasn't appropriate for her in the moment. The show featured minor roles for her in The Clique and Harold as well as Locker 514. At the end of summer, Ariana, who would later appear in Victorious along with her, was cast alongside her as Lucy in the Goodspeed Production that was Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. After that, 13 was moved to Broadway as the only Broadway production to have a cast and band entirely comprised of teens. The two most popular songs she sang, "Opportunity", and "It could not be real" which were subsequently followed by smaller roles in tunes like "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready", and the title song.
